Give Up?

This is a festival where there is little or nothing else to do but drink beer. For 7 hours straight. And anyone who tries to argue that people do not stay for the entire affair, I will point out that the festival costs $20 just to get in the door. It is highly likely that anyone walking through that entrance will want to just 'have a couple', nor are they going to sip their drink slowly. No way, this festival and others like it are for only the most committed beer guzzlers. Harpoon Fest: "Drink Beer, Get Wasted" should be it's slogan.

So all of this being said, does it not seem strange that listed in Harpoon Brewery's HarpoonFest 2011 summary, the final bullet point reads "Come run in the Harpoon 5-miler on Sunday morning" ?

What?! Are they crazy? Run a race after a night of serious drinking?

I think I'll probably pass on that one, but thanks anyway guys!
